Yes, E-LOSTBAG Connected Luggage Tag, are bought one time and allows you to make your luggage identifiable lifetime for each travel and without any subscription.
E-LOSTBAG products needs a battery ?
No, the ID model uses fully passive RFID technology, while the Premium and Nomad versions have a replaceable battery (CR2032).
I have several luggages, how many E-LOSTBAG do i need to buy ?
One E-LOSTBAG tag per luggage is required. To preserve the integrity of identification data, an E-LOSTBAG RFID tag cannot be transferred from one luggage to another. Except for the Nomad model, which can receive a temporary assignment.
Can i manage severals luggage with a single account ?
Yes, an unlimited count of E-LOSTBAG can be linked to a single account, on the other hand, thoses luggages will be assigned to this owner and it's contact informations.
Which informations can i fill in my account
All information necessary to identify your luggage. Personal contact details, luggage receipt for airline flights, ...
How luggage identification works ?
First, it may be usefull to remind that no personnal information are inside the RFID chip. The only information is an impersonal identification number that allow E-LOSTBAG to link your luggage to your contact informations. This link will allow our Certified Partners to have access to your information and process the identification and finally send back your luggage.
Am I notified when an identification is done on my luggage ?
Yes, of course each identification, from a certified partner or another E-LOSTBAG customers, will be notified by e-mail or sms.
A private individual can identify my luggage, which information can he access ?
None, identification made by individual are reversed, the notify you that they found your luggage by sending the position or their contact informations. In this way you can have a contact to get back your luggage.
How E-LOSTBAG can secure my luggage ?
Even if the external regular luggage tag are still advised to avoid your luggage to be considered as abandoned, they are still vulnerable to external factors which could alterate it. Moreover you no need anymore to write your postal address on it for the send back, because E-LOSTBAG make the link for you. This is a safety againt robbers that can get information about your movement and your home address with the intention to visit your house when you're not in it.

All E-LOSTBAG Certified Partner. Our partners are hand-picked and their agreament have been validated by our services. They must justify of certain criteria to prove their needs about luggage identification.
